On a cold winter day in Fargo, ND, Daniel Kleefeld at the age of eight, was inspired by beautiful classical music coming from the old  family piano. “The pianist was Grace Pederson, a dear blind lady, Which my kindhearted Dad had invited over for dinner after he had helped her across a busy intersection in downtown Fargo.” “After I turned ten, she became my piano teacher. For the next seven years I learned to play classical music,” Daniel recalls. Since then, Daniel has developed his own style of  neoclassical music.  He has sometimes been compared to George Winston and Jim Brickman, however these comparisons do not quite capture the true spirit of his original and unique compositions.  Daniel adds his own heart and passion that brings new life to even familiar tunes by other composers.

Daniel began his music career playing in a hotel lobby.  It wasn’t long until Daniel’s performances caught the attention of Alex Majed, who was the Warren Duck Club Manager at the time.“He had just been honored by receiving the Manager of the Year Award,” recalls Daniel, “I happened to come by to congratulate him, and he enthusiastically asked me to come and be their pianist.” This has led to opportunities at several other fine dining restaurants such as Bravo, Bon Appetite, Polo Grill,  He  also sets the perfect atmosphere at weddings, receptions, parties, charity banquets, and many other events.  He is frequently a guest on local television and radio shows.

Daniel has produced and recorded three CDs, and will soon be releasing a DVD of a concert recently filmed at the TV47 studio before a live audience.  

Daniel currently lives in Tulsa, OK, with his wife, Linda, and two daughters, Lisa and Courtney. Lisa will give a violin performance at some of his concerts and Courtney, who has studied ballet, will dance.

Daniel Kleefeld Ministries was formed to lift up those in distress, and to impact the world with God's love through anointed music, God's Word, and the Arts.

Daniel’s training at Youth with a Mission, Rhema, and School of the Local church, is helping him fulfill this vision.  He has ministered in several areas of the United States, Mexico, Austria, England, Wales, Germany, and Switzerland. 

Daniel’s television appearances have included “Something Good Tonight” , “Make your Day Count”,  “The Harvest Show”, and  “Cornerstone”.  TV47 has filmed two concerts where Daniel and several of his guests ministered before a live studio audience.
